My name is Ellie and I have scoliosis.  In 5th grade, the school nurse sent a note home to my parents suspecting I might have scoliosis.  We went to the doctor a few times, but they said nothing needed to be done.  In 8th grade, that changed.  I went to a specialist and now I wear a body brace 23/7.  But, there's more to me than just scoliosis.
